Football feast up ahead

As you can tell by my last post, Chris and I have been happily eating again. This week we hit all the major food groups we missed last weekend: mexican food, pizza, cookies, and tiramisu. If we lost any weight last weekend (yay!), we gained it back already (boo!).

I forgot to mention we had a well-baby visit with the doctor on Monday. Gabrielle is in the 65th percentile for weight and 90th for height. Hum, I wonder who she gets that from?! She also received a shot, her last vaccine until kindergarten. I can’t even conceive her ever being old enough to start school, that’s crazy talk!

We’ve been tending to put Gabrielle to bed earlier (7:30) rather than later in the past month due to all the excitement of visitors and all the illnesses. She also got into the habit of getting up at 5am. One morning this week she was up at 4:45am and that did it. We’re now forcing her to stay up until 8:30pm. I’m happy to report she’s been waking up at 6am for the last 3 mornings, it’s a miracle! It’s amazing how much faster mornings go by when we don’t need to entertain her for 3 hours before it’s time to leave for work!

Superbowl Sunday is coming up, we’ve got plans to stay home, make ourselves a football party feast, and watch movies instead!
